And here’s the man who makes it happen...
Lee Ball has been running Can We Dig It Landscapes for almost four decades. His career in landscaping started straight from school when he took a job at a local garden centre.
“Fortunately my boss let me be hands on rather than just the labourer, so I learnt fast. I had many local weekend customers even then keeping gardens tidy but loved the creative side to gardening. So when I passed my driving test in 1980 I bought a transit van and went on my own. A lot of my jobs now are returning customers happy to know I deliver a good service.“
Self-taught with brickwork and rendering Lee has been taking on total makeover projects that provide a range of skills for many years. He’s been there and done it all but still loves the day to day of a hands-on approach. You won’t see him scurrying off to hide away in an office. No, onsite is the only place for Lee who loves to get his hand dirty – quite literally – and get stuck in. Lee's passion for creating functional and beautiful external spaces is legendary as his reliable and friendly approach.
